September is International Alzheimer's Month. In light of this occasion and to spread awareness about Alzheimer's disease, Ziyad Al-Ibriq, founder of the CANE Group, which deals with all the affairs of the elderly and caregivers, presented the first meeting under a series entitled "Alzheimer's between Reality and Imagination"; At the Mouwasat Association in the hall of the Jamila and Ahmed Al-Bizri Social Center in front of a large number of officials in the medical and social sectors, in addition to family, relatives and friends. During the meeting:
1- The most important physiological changes that occur in the brain of an Alzheimer's
patient.
2- The medical references in the Qur’an that concern the elderly in particular.
3- The percentage of people with Alzheimer's disease in the world and demographic
changes.
4- Factors contributing to Alzheimer's disease.
5- In conclusion, a two-month draw was made to win an evaluation for an elderly person
and a caregiver for a period of one month.
